Health and Safety

Bosa are fully committed to training programs and health and safety procedures which instill professionalism, responsibility and attention to detail in all our staff.

We have always recognised our responsibility for the health and safety of our team and others working close by and remain committed to training and safe methods of working

Our training programmes are continuous through support from CITB Construction Skills, HSE on line services and Federation of Master Builders bulletins.

  • Tool Box Talks and Site Inductions from both main contractor representatives and Bosa management ensure our operatives are made fully aware of potential hazards and problems. Method Statements, Risk and COSHH Assessments and Site Rules provide site specific information.
  • Bosa operatives are issued with a full range of quality PPE to protect themselves from those hazards which cannot be designed out. Site visits are carried out by Bosa management to ensure operatives remain compliant with the correct PPE and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Bosa has achieved accreditation from Chas, Constructionline and UVDB Achilles for its safe systems of work, training and monitoring procedures. All operatives have CSCS, SSSTS and ECITB Safety Passports
  • Waste Management including safe disposal are essential elements of health and safety. Bosa recognises its Carbon Footprint and has taken steps to reduce waste and safely dispose of classified waste. Bosa are licensed carriers of waste produced by their operations. Waste that is deemed hazardous from CHIP and Safety Data Sheets is bagged and taken to a Controlled Waste Site for registered disposal.
